He is survived by: his children, Ernest W. Melvin Jr. (Sunny) and Sara Orlando; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Bodine and Deloris Dill (Mitchell); and his grandchildren, Wesley, Mckenzie Melvin, Christian, Noah and Lucas Orlando. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
