She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Tull and Ruth Matthews; her stepmother Naomi Tull; her uncle Jack; and her aunt Martha "Fairy" Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Ritchel Battle (Terry), Tina Edmunds (Bryan) and Rodney Waters Sr. (Lashon); her grandchildren, Adriane Rush (Landis), TJ Battle (Briana), Brandon Savage (Lori), Asani Edmunds, Aza Edmunds, LaKeya Griffin (Anthony), Brittney Johnson (Chavis), Jasmine Rubin (DeAndrew) and Rodney Waters Jr.; her brother Gregory Tull; her cousin Tommy Matthews Sr.; her goddaughter Lana Stokes; and her close friend Cynthia Smith (family: Amanda Days, Shirley Boyd, Millie Gatson, Marlene Hynson, Mary Casson, Joyce Waring, Edgenel Jones, Diane Dellinger). She is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
