He was predeceased by: his parents, Christeal Doughty and Clyde Doughty, Sr.; his wife Mary Doughty; and his siblings, Arnold Hatton and Barbara Gaines.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hawkins of Dover, DE, LaVerne Maddox and Clyde Doughty III (Deanna) of Millsboro, DE; his siblings, Shirley Westley (James), Gene Hatton (Marilyn) of Dover, DE and Wilkins Hatton (Gloria) of Townsend, DE; his goddaughter Sherrelle Hicks; his grandchildren, Linda Doughty, Gregory Hawkins, Jr. and Anthony Morley; his great grandchildren, Aleshia, Shontaya, Antonio and Jeremiah; his great great grandchild Jahiem; and his godson Elijah Hicks.
