He is survived by: his children, Charles Murphy, Jr. (Brenda), Albert Murphy of Jacksonville, FL and Margaret McMillan (Rick) of Rocky Point, NC; his grandchildren, Amber Murphy, Brian Beish, Shanon Lee (Joshua) and Reba Kerrigan (Shawn); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Isabella, Grace, Alice and Joe.
