With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos A. Pettyjohn (Dover, Delaware), who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Mae Pettyjohn (Henderson) and Lemuel Pettyjohn; and his siblings, Sharon Vanessa Pettyjohn, Maurice and Gary Pettyjohn.
He is survived by: his son Carlos Pettyjohn of Seaford, DE; his grandchildren, Ivay Sauls III (Tre), Irieayana Sauls and Brandon Sauls; his sisters, Mary Pettyjohn of Dover, DE, Charletta Pettyjohn Johnson (Sylvester) of Bear, DE and Lavelda Pettyjohn of Dover, DE.; and his close friend Claudette Glass. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (425 W Division St, Dover, DE 19904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
