She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Ivory Smith and Ernestine Smith; her husband Marvin Lee Francis; her brother Burton Ivory Smith, Jr.; her son Ronald J. Francis; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Francis, Mary Francis, Shirley Francis and Diane Hollins.
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton Francis and Phillip Francis; her daughter-in-law Brittany Morris; her brother Bobbie Smith, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Juanita Smith and Lavarne E. Francis; her grandchildren, Joshua White, Kesha Francis, Symone Francis, DaShawn Francis, Layla Francis, Elani Francis, Anisa Francis, Sara Welch, Ermias Francis, Memphis Morris and Amani Francis; and her great grandchildren, Corinthian Francis, Brooklyn Carter and Ameena Carter. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whatcoat Umc Church (341 Saulsbury Rd, Dover, DE 19904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
