It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Vavala of Dewey Beach, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vavala and Anne Vavala; and his brother Larry Vavala. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Vavala of Dewey Beach, DE; his children, Kristine Vavala (RJ Martin) of Dewey Beach, DE and Joseph Vavala (Allison) of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and his grandchildren, Lila Vavala of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Tommy Vavala of Rehoboth Beach, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
