He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gillis and Bessie Mae Gillis; and his brother Laurence Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Opal Lee Gillis (Caudill); his daughters, Diane Miller (Michael) of Hacksneck, VA, Nancy Gillis of Delmar and Trish Bragg of Salisbury; his grandsons, Gregg Morris (Jennifer) of Parsonsburg and Christopher Bragg of Salisbury; and his great grandchild Shelby Morris.
