He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Francis Alvaro and Ida Marie Iannuzzi Alvaro; and his siblings, Richard Alvaro and Carmella Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Alvaro; his children, Jessica Mewborn (Terrance), Richard Elliott, III (Tisa), Jennifer Hinote (Mike Fiorelli) and Shawn Hinote (Lisa); his brothers, Frank Alvaro, Jr. (Carolyn) and Nick Alvaro (Gail); his mother-in-law Audrey Dorsey; and his niece Terri Hastings. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters.
