She was predeceased by: her fathers, Oscar Hignutt and Roy Haislip; and her husband William G. Wisseman. She is survived by: her children, Brenda (Steve Willey), William Jr. (Liz Wisseman), Bob Wisseman of Seaford and Lisa (Wade Whaley); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark Anderson of Greenwood, Steve, Kelly Willey of Greenwood, Matt, Jessica Wisseman of King George, VA, Coty Wisseman of Seaford, Jessica Whaley of Laurel and Danielle Whaley of Laurel; her great grandchildren, Steven Willey, Zarek Anderson, Braedan Anderson, Landon Wisseman, Parker, Amelia, Gavin and Braylin Wisseman; her sisters, Mary Frances (Atwood Tucker) and Dynita (Tom Gottschall); and her pet Chi-Chi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her special companion.
