He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Meilhammer and Mabel E. Meilhammer (Mitchell); his brother Kenneth Meilhammer; and his close friend Theresa Hall. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Meilhammer (Linda), Steve Meilhammer, Jeff Meilhammer (April), Elaine Baumann (Jack), Cecelia Hales, Grace Prettyman, Cathy Melson, Elizabeth Beauchamp (Norwood) and Lisa Vickers (Daryl). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940).
