It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas James Burt of Delmar, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burt and Gertrude Elizabeth Miller Burt; and his wife Kathleen Anne Burt. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Burt, Jr. (Eliza) of Berlin, William Burt of Delmar, DE and Joseph Burt (Anna) of Delmar, DE; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Josie, Joseph "JT" Burt and Mason Hetherington; and his sisters-in-law, Denise Romano (Joe), Marianne Yurkiw (Paul) and Veronica Rom (Greg). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
