He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Ashburn, Sr. and Marie D. Ashburn; his siblings, William F. Ashburn, Jr., Dorothy M. Deel, Timothy A. Ashburn and Betty Estep; his aunt Mary; and his uncle Joe Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Ashburn; and his brother Bruce J. Ashburn (JoAnn). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
