He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gross, Sr. and Hazel I. Gross (Basham); his siblings, Roger Gross, Barbara McRobie (Tip), Pat Sorrow (Vernon) and Debbie Holt; and his brother-in-law Philip Preston Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Marie Gross (Meilhammer); his children, Larry E. Gross (Dana) and Penny A. Gross; his sister Brenda S. Thomas; and his sister-in-law Kay Gross. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of great friends.
