He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Wootten and Mary Rosa Lee Wootten (Truitt); his significant other Jeannie Adkins; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Adkins (Mary Jane) and Geraldine Bradford (George).
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Wootten; his siblings, Jimmy Wootten (Charlotte), Tommy Wootten (Gail) and Gail Wootten; his brothers-in-law, Gomer Adkins, Larry Adkins (Shirley) and Freddie Adkins (Suzanne); and also Little League. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
