He is survived by: his wife Rachel V. Truitt; his daughters, Christine Ashcraft of Salisbury and Kimberly Ashcraft of Salisbury; his grandson Robert Martin of Salisbury; his nephews, Mark Evans of Philadelphia, Mark Truitt of Salisbury and Steve Davis of Pittsville; and his friends, Bob and Serena Morgan.
