She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Pruitt and Blanche Smith Pruitt (Paradise); her husband Robert "Bobby" A. Truitt; and her siblings, Clifton Pruitt, Ruth Watson, Sarah Northam, Jean Foskey and Joyce Kennard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Ashcraft of Salisbury and Kimberly Ashcraft of Salisbury; her grandson Robert Martin of Salisbury; and her sister Helen Lewers of Virginia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
