She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar J. LeCates and Minnie Florence LeCates (Nibblet); her former husband Norman James Hitchens; and her brothers, Norman LeCates and Lee LeCates.
She is survived by: her husband Sussex Beverage; her sons, Donald James Hitchens (Cynthia) of Millsboro and Keith Alan Hitchens (Lori) of Delmar; her grandchildren, Amy Rose, Ashley Hearn (Travis), Jordan Hitchens (Heather), Autumn Marie Hitchens and Brianna Hitchens; and her sister Arvalene Moore of Laurel. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
