He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Betta "Betty" LeCates and Norval LeCates, Sr.; and his sister Joyce Harris. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Varvaro (Tony) of Georgetown, DE and Michelle Phillips of Georgetown, DE; his grandchildren, Kevin Taylor, Paul Moore, Julie Moore, Justin Moore, Christian Phillips and Keira Berezansky; his brother Norval LeCates, Jr.; his cousin Brenda LeCates; and his friend Ricky "Queenie" Layton.
In honor of his memory, donations can be made to the Laurel American Legion Post 19 in Laurel, DE.
