She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adolfo Fernandez Estrabiz and Ines Yebra Perez; her husband Norris P Carey Sr.; her stepdaughter Patricia Mercuro (Pete Mercuro); her children, Norris Paul Carey Jr. (Salisbury) and Maria Luisa Carey (Maria Adkins); her grandson Norris P Carey, III (Salisbury); her daughter-in-law Michelle Taylor (PA); her granddaughter Taylor Moore (Frostburg); her niece Dolores; and her nephew Gerald Outten. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
