We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lillian H. Wootten of Delmar, Delaware, born in Bridgehampton, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lulu Blanche Hedges (Fanning) and Norman Church Hedges; her husband Linford Wootten; and her siblings, Theresa Murray, Dayton, Norman and Nathan Hedges.

She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Wootten (Florence) of New Bern, NC and Jean W. Allen (Robert) of Selbyville, DE; her grandchildren, Mary Kate Allen, Megan Holzer (Craig), Jim Wootten (Christina) and Laura Little (David); her great grandchildren, Alexander, Emily Nagy and Maya Allen-Priest; her grandchildren, Katie Lil, Will Holzer, Luke, Connor, Sydney Lin, Remi Wootten, Reginald, Lockwood and Theodore Little; and her siblings, Walter Hedges of West Columbia, SC and Mary Louise Janosik of Laurel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, in the memory of Mrs. Wootten, may be sent to St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 101 E. State Street, Delmar, DE 19940.
