She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Lane and Doris Jennette (Sard); her stepdaughter Takeisha "Shelly" Long; her cousin Vicky; and her stepparents, Marietta Lane and Nasa Jennette.
She is survived by: her husband Wade P. Long; her children, Desmond A. Brown, Jr. (Cindy), Jason Brown (Laura) and Janelle Long (Chen); her grandchildren, Elijah, Desi, Jason and Ava; and her aunt Barbara. She is also survived by friends and cousins.
