John W. Elliott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Elliott of Delmar, Delaware, who passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Thomas Elliott and Lillian Calloway Elliott; his former wives, Dorothy Ellen Elliott and Irene Elliott; his siblings, Paul Thomas Elliott and Blanche Kirby; and his stepson Howard Layton.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hedges West Elliott; his son Jeff Elliott (Lisa) of Delmar; his stepchildren, Bonnie Atkins (Ray), Judy Pfeiffer, Wanda West, Melissa Culver (Ron), Michael West (Vanessa) and Matthew West (Jamie); his grandsons, Ryan Larney and Christopher Elliott; and his nephew Tommy Elliott (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Do to an increase in recent COVID-19 cases, the family requests attendees to wear a mask if able.
