With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle M. Martinson (Delmar, Delaware), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Nielsen and Mae Nielsen (Johnson); her son Robert "Bobby" Martinson; her son-in-law Robert Williams, Sr.; her brother Doug; her sister-in-law Sally Nielsen; her sisters, Nancy Saumer and Marianne Henke; her brothers-in-law, Ron McHugh and Carrol Wahl; and her parents-in-law, Selmer and Ona Olson.
She is survived by: her husband Roger L. Martinson; her children, Richard Martinson (Lisa), Lisa Trolian and Roger Martinson; her daughter-in-law Melody McIntyre; her grandchildren, Robert McCabe, Jr., Amber Lewis (Bryan), Kelsey Martinson (Jason), Anthony Trolian, Kiersten Trolian, Austin Martinson, Nathan Martinson, Jennifer Meyer (Tim), Robert Williams, Jr., Nikki McIntyre (Bruce), Danielle Blackburn (Mike) and Matthew McIntyre; her sisters, Carolyn McHugh, Judy Nelson (Paul), Joy Carson (Greg) and Jean Mulville (Doug); and her sisters-in-law, Alecia Wahl, Nancy Quilling and Bonnie Zahler (Doug). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services for family and close friends will be private and by invitation from the family due to the current COVID-19 gathering restrictions.
