He is survived by: his wife Phyllis L. Collins; his children, Amy Collins, Ashley Smith and Gary Ray Collins, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kevin Ayers, Jr., Dylan Smith, Luke Smith and Mila Smith; and his siblings, Zeke Collins, Sr., Cathy Helgeson (Neil), Cinda Allison (Gary) and Hiram Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
