He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Alton Huffman and Edith Lucille Huffman (Ormandy); his wife Jo Ann Huffman; and his sister Judy Huffman. He is survived by: his children, Eric "Nicky" Huffman, Jr. (Linda) of Eden and Suzanne Hudson (Eddie) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Brandon Hudson (Angel) and Eddie Hudson, III; his great grandchildren, Justin, Taylor and Xavier; and his siblings, Benny Huffman (Sandra) of South Charleston, WV, Bill Huffman (Deann) of Peterstown, WV, Larry Huffman (Debbie) of Elizabeth City, NC, Mason Huffman (Nancy) of Delmar, Tommy Huffman (Becky) and Tena Church (Gwyne) of Hebron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
