With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily D. Cottingham (Delmar, Delaware), born in Newark, Maryland, who passed away on March 31, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl G. Dryden and Bertie Mitchell Dryden; her husband James Wilson "Pat" Cottingham, Jr.; her brothers, Strayer Dryden, Charlton Dryden and Howard E. Dryden; and her nephew Jimmy Dryden.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia "Ginny" Schnepel (John); her grandchildren, James F. Schnepel, Sr. (Shantell) and Lisa Mordes (Scott); her great grandchildren, James, Jr., Caitlin, Ryan and Rachel; and her sisters-in-law, Emily G. Cottingham and Pauline Cottingham. She is also survived by five nieces and five nephews.
