She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carey and Margaret Christopher; her son Bruce James Hastings; her stepdaughter Thelma May Dunston Yates; and her siblings, Ralph Christopher, Blenda Probst and Karen Leasia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stacie Ennis (Greg), Lori Hastings (Rob) and Cynthia Gonzalez (Francisco); her stepson Sean "Mike" Dunston; her brother David Christopher; and her friend Oscar Herbert "Peanut" Dunston. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
