It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Edward Ruark of Delmar, Delaware, born in Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ruark and Irma Lee Ruark; and his brother-in-law Ronald Lockerman. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Lockerman Ruark; his sons, Scott Cook and Jason Ruark (Loren); his grandchildren, Logan and Elise of Holly Springs, NC.; his daughter Erin Ruark Dickerson (Rick Dickerson); his grandsons, Noah and Sam Terry of Laurel, DE.; his siblings, Kenneth (Brenda), Gary (Lois), Suzanne Adkins (Freddie) and Janice Ilczuk (Mike); his sisters-in-law, Tracey Lockerman and Sheila Lockerman; and his nieces and nephews, Lori Ruark, Lisa Niblett, Nicole Fooks, Megan Maddox, Hannah Tull, Ken Ruark, Chad Adkins, Chris Adkins, Ian Lockerman, Michael Layton and Christopher Bradford.
