We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024, at the age of 74, Deborah S. Hughes (Delmar, Delaware), born in Cambridge, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Andrews Wheatley and Charles Hughes, Jr.; her daughter Angela Lucas; and her grandson Brody Lewis. She is survived by: her son Brad Lewis; her grandchildren, Shauna Hurley (Joel), Denay Lucas, Ariana Lucas, Darrian Lucas, Ashton Lucas and Savannah Lewis; her great grandchildren, Taliah Brown, Desmond Brown, Jr. and Aliana Pettiford; her siblings, Linda Powell and Larry Hughes; her niece Shelley Foxwell (Wes); her nephew Shawn Powell (Christine); and her close friend Randell Matney.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940).
