She was predeceased by: her parents, George Willis Hudson and Nellie Burton; and her sister Judy Carter. She is survived by: her sons, James "Jimmy" M. Gootee, Jr. of Crisfield and William Sherman Massey of Delmar; her grandchildren, Megan Wallace, Morgan Bliley, Lexee Gootee, Emily Edwards, Bryston Sherman Massey and Ethan Sherman Massey; and her sister Barbara Gregg of Easton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
