With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Vaughn Wilkerson (Delmar, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Wilkerson and Sarah Davis Wilkerson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wilkerson; his children, Tammy Chieffo (Henry), Sara Wilkerson, Ashley Wilkerson (Jeff) and Travis Lee Wilkerson (Sarah); his grandchildren, Makayla, Aiden, Layla, Jessalyn, Peyton, Travis, Jr., Creek, Mackenzie, Kade, Levi, Avery, Jessica and Michael, Jr.; his siblings, Wayne Wilkerson (Vanessa) and Stella Day; and his mother-in-law Dollie Lusk. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
