He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Carter and Robert G, II (Zelda); his daughter-in-law Danata Harding; his sisters, Helen Powell and Madge E. Smith; his sister-in-law June Brown; his grandchildren, Daniel Hanks, Erica Lovett, Lisa Brown, Rick, Ronald, Robert Reid, Albert Ryans, Carl Taylor, Cameron and Candace Harding; and his friend Mary Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
