He is survived by: his wife Stephanie DiSabatino Brooks; his children, John C. Brooks, Jr., Cheri James (Jesse) and Jessica Brooks; his grandchildren, Danielle Risser, Anthony Polizzi, Charity James, Carolynn Polizzi, Luke James and David Polizzi; his siblings, James A. Brooks and Judith L. Wittko; his stepchildren, Stephan Mann (Nicole) and Christen Woerner (Jeff); and his stepgrandchildren, Ryleigh Woerner, Natalie Mann and Addison Mann.
