He was predeceased by: his wife Joy Ennis; his father Alton S. Ennis; his sister Kathy Wilkins; his brother-in-law Richard "Dickie" Baker; and his nephew Stevie Ennis.
He is survived by: his children, John Ennis (Erin Wood) of Frankford, DE and Jamie Dickerson (Jason) of Georgetown, DE; his mother Beatrice Ennis of Dagsboro, DE; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Ennis, Julianna Ennis, Lily Grace Ennis, Rhett Dickerson and Noah Ennis; his siblings, Debbie Baker of Dagsboro, DE and Steve Ennis (Connie) of Laurel, DE; and the mother of his children Dena Ennis of Dagsboro, DE.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several amazing friends.
