Susan E. Clarke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan E. Clarke of Dagsboro, Delaware, born in Yonkers, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Herald and E. Irene Herald; and her sister Joan Comey (Brien). She is survived by: her children, Sue, Susan Duggan (James), Dennis Clarke, William Clarke, George Clarke (Jessica) and Kevin Clarke (Lenore); her husband William Clarke; and her sisters, Irene Matthews (William), Barbara Traub (Richard) and Mary Herald (Joseph d'Oronzio). She is also survived by children, 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe (35318 Jones Church Rd, Frankford, DE 19945). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Sue's name to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at the Parish of St. Ann (online donations can be made through St. Ann at https://secure.myvanco.com).
