Stephen Lawson Ward Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Lawson Ward of Dagsboro, Delaware, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Julia Lauren Jaquette. He is survived by: his parents, Eugene T. Ward and Lucy Anne (Lawson); his wife Betz; his children, Stephen Michael Ward of Crisfield, MD and Shirley Anne Ward (Shane) of Princess Anne, MD; his stepdaughter Nickie Carew of Denton, MD; his siblings, Eugene T. Ward, Jr. (Jessica) of Traverse City, MI, Gretchen Fritz of Pocomoke City, MD and Lynda Warner (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jamyson, Talon, Jack, Bella, Izzie, Ronan, Bram and Eulalie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Fellowship Bible Church (5910 Crisfield Hwy, Marion Station, MD 21838). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home (19 S Main St, Selbyville, DE 19975).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve and Betz memory may be made to Christ Fellowship Bible Church at 5910 Crisfield Highway, Marion Station, MD 21838.
