He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Golt (Steele); and his siblings, John "Junior" Golt, Margaret Archer, Doris Sixt and Mary McNatt.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Golt (Mark Hall), Samuel Golt, Jr. (Tami), Michael Golt (Stacey) and Larry Golt (Carey); his siblings, Robert Golt and Carolyn Schnitzer; his grandchildren, Elisa, Michael, Jr., Diane, Leslie, Harry, Madalyn, Maeghan, Amanda, Heather, Keith and Lily; his great grandchildren, Marshal, Makayla and Paige; and his friend Peggy Ringler.
