He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dixon, Jr. and Myrtle Dixon (Jones); and his nephews, Kenneth Warren and Wade Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann; his sons, George Dixon of Middletown, DE, Sam Dixon (Nicole) of Smyrna and Randy Dixon of Clayton; his grandchildren, Jayden, Payton, Paxtyn and Sammy V; and his siblings, Judy Cook of Kenton, Betty Caldwell (Danny) of Lewes, Lillian Warren (Elmer) of Kenton, Edna Givens (Jim) of Smyrna and Marty Dixon (Marcia) of Clayton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
