It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Albert Watson Jr. of Clayton, Delaware, born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert A. Watson, Sr. and Grace M. Watson; and his wife Melody Jackson Watson. He is survived by: his stepson Coleman Jackson (Ashley); his siblings, Marshall U. Wilson, Marilyn L. Duker, Joyce V. Simmons, Sandra L. Steele, James E. Watson Apostle Chester (Cheryle), Peggy W. Heath (Wayne), Rick Blanchfield (Theresa) and Ann (Warren); his uncle Edward Harrison, Sr.; his aunts, Ethel Watson and Alpain Wilson; his mother-in-law Madeline Jackson; and his close friend Theodora "Winky" Wailes. He is also survived by grandchildren, nephews and nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.
