He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Monroe; his brother Jimmy Monroe; and his pets, Babies and Rascle "Bubba". He is survived by: his wife Courtney Monroe; his children, John A. Monroe, Heather Crowder and Tiffany Crowder; his father William Monroe; and his siblings, Lisa Weaver and Jeff "Woody" Monroe. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
