He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin G. Carroll Jr. and Helen Simmons Carroll; and his brothers, Edward (Sandy), Robert (Doris), Ralph, Ronnie (Julia), Wayne (Jinny), David (Pam) and Mike.
He is survived by: his friends, Tommy Smith, Bill Hufnal and Scott Henderson; his children, Susan Boyce, James F. Carroll Jr., Artie Carroll, Angel Carroll Crozier (Ricky) and Cathy Orozco; and his sisters, Helen Hadaway (Jim), Brenda Cleveland (Rick), Terri Biggs (Marvin) and Patti Pitcher.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans either on line or by mail at PO Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
