Helena left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Mullins and Mary Mullins; her children, Keith Aliff and Kim McGinnis; and her sisters, Mildred Price and Ladena Flemmings.
She is survived by: her husband Fred L. Hoskinson; her siblings, Polly Clark, Ralph Mullins (Sue) and Imogene Shelton (Cebert); her grandchildren, Charles Emerson of Clayton, Autumn Baxter (Vince) of Millington, MD, Desiray Rhodes (Evan) of Millington, MD, Courtney Elborn of Chestertown, MD, Shannon Hobbs (John) of Milton, WV and Adam Aliff of Hamlin, WV.; her great grandchildren, Skylar Moyer, Chayse Baxter, Steel Rhodes, Dylan Elborn, Gracie Elborn, Waylon Fletcher, John Hobbs IV, Miranda-Kylee Hobbs, Wyatt Hobbs, Adam Aliff and Aliza Aliff; and her great great grandchildren, Lane Moyer, Colsen Moyer, Beau Elborn, Stetson Rhodes, Chanelle Hobbs and Baron Brigner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGhee-Handley Funeral Home (6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV 25571). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Handley Funeral Home (6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV 25571). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Green Valley Cemetery (1384 Bowen Creek Rd, Branchland, WV 25506).
