He was predeceased by: his parents, Onisia Galeta and Ivan Galeta (Viktorovka); his siblings, Nikolai, Nina and Lidia; and his son Oleg (Anelia).
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Fedorchenko (Paul); his grandchildren, Analotiy Novitsky (Taya), Alex Fedorchenko, Katherine Derkachev (Artem) and Henry Fedorchenko; and his great grandchildren, Ariel and Kaia Novitsky.
