He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Green; and his brother Kenny Hegesi. He is survived by: his son Justin Green; his siblings, Joyce Hegesi, Roger Hegesi, Vance Stanley and Timothy Hegesi; and his grandchildren, Anthony Pavina, Bishop Pavina, Aubbry Allen, Brandon Bryant, Breanna Bryant and Jacob Geistel.
