She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Branch (Ekl) and Joseph Branch; her husband Jack D. Straight; her sister Margie Boylan (Branch); her brother-in-law James; her brothers, Joseph Branch, Robert Branch and Jimmy Branch; and her children-in-law, Kenneth M. Freemark Jr. and Mary Ann Straight (Wilson).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Ciaffi Freemark, John Wayne Straight and James Allen Straight (Margie); her grandchildren, Michael Ciaffi (Gina), Michelle Spangler (Sam), Joseph Straight, MD (Lyndsay), Erin (Straight), Riddick (Jim), Andrew Straight (Meg) and J. R. Nessley (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony Ciaffi, Sarah, Caleb and Noah Spangler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Child (2500 Naamans Rd, Wilmington, DE 19810). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
