She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Acevedo and Manuela Velez; her husband Raul Vega Santiago; and her sons, Javier Vega and Billy Vega.

She is survived by: her children, Madeline Vega, Ivonne Vega, Grace Vega, Yadira Vega, Raul Vega, Jr., Julie Vega, Yamil Vega and Sammy Vega. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
