She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; her son Joseph J. Jr.; her parents, William Rice and Margaret Rice; her sisters, Dorothy and Charlotte; and her pets, Whiskers, Tinkerbell, Reynaurd and Furball.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Litwa, Maureen Boland, Eileen Challenger (Bob) and Sharon Boland; her grandchildren, Amber Hefner (James), Daniel Litwa (Lindsey) of Joseph and Joseph "JD" Challenger; her great grandchildren, Dameon, Colton Hefner and Owen Litwa; her pets, Winston and Samantha "Sam"; and her caregivers, Maddy Dutton, Chaplain Bill Irons, Dr. Dan DePietropaolo and Bayada. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
