He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harvey, Violet Kirkner, James and Delores Elder; and his uncle Dean Kirkner.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael Elder and Edna Mae Elder; his brother Brian (Kateri); his sons, Kellen James and Brantland Leslie (Tammy Dutton); his niece Kayla Burke; his nephews, Billy Joe Burke Jr. and Patrick Burke; and also, Milo and Mia. He is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.
