It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Sheftz of Claymont, Delaware, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Sheftz and Bertha Sheftz (Chesluk). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Sheftz (Lapes); his pet Allie; his sister Elaine Borgese (John); his nephews, John Borgese (Peggy) and Greg Borgese; his godson Brian Maggs (Aimee); his great-nieces, Brittany and Erin Borgese; and his great-nephew Tyler.
